Wordless Wednesday- Whimsical Window

Wow, all the words in my title start with W... 'Wordless Wednesday- Whimsical Window'!  :p
Okay, I'm corny... I'll shut up and just show you the picture now!

This window is in the entryway, right at the bottom of our stairs.  The suncatchers my daughter got for her 5th birthday from one of her aunts.  And the plant was one she grew in her Young 4's class for Mother's Day for me.  I haven't replanted it to a bigger pot yet, but I know I need to soon!!

Head on over to Wordless Wednesday & 5 Minutes for Mom for more Wordless Wednesday Fun!

  1. I LOVE sun catchers :) Is that a worm in the first one?! I used to LOVE glow worm toys haha This photo made me reminisce. I actually think I MADE a sun catcher like the rainbow one when I was a kid :)

  3. I love sun catchers! We have some fancy ones in our dining room window, but I can't wait for my son to get old enough to make us some good old-fashioned kid-made catchers.

Happy WW - I love this photo!

I love suncatchers! Actually, I had some luck when my babies were born. When I was pregnant with Arik, I bought a suncatcher kit, and painted a bunch for Arik's room. Fast forward four years later, I was walking through Meijer's (I believe it was) when I was pregnant with Ava, and I actually found exactly the same suncatchers kit! I couldn't believe it! So I bought and painted them for Ava too. :-)

  9. I sometimes have considered putting in a whole stained glass panel to get the same affect.

  10. Totally cuteness! I too like sun catchers. I have gold birds etc with hanging crystals in my windows! The crystals give the rainbow effect, which I love. Following you! Have a great day!
