Of course this presents a problem when I'm trying to actually mail something out. I have a small table by the door where I set the outgoing mail. Well... it doesn't always make it safely to the mailbox. You see, my toddler loves to tear & rip lovingly open things so much, that nothing is sacred. So those envelopes I had stamped and ready to go... are now nothing but shreds. Guess it's time to invest in more envelopes or a shelf that can be installed higher on the wall. Or perhaps a motion sensor alarm system that will detect all toddler movement within 2 feet of the front door. Oh the joys of having a 2 year old in the house!

Ha Ha!!! Yes same problem here with my 17 month old. I am always fishing paper out of his mouth as he slowly eats his books. *sigh*
Mommy Only Has Two Hands!
That is so cute! And I would definitely look into getting a sensor system! I am glad that my daughter isn't doing that just yet.
Oops, you created a monster!
We like Mail here as well!! With a 4year old, 2 1/2 year old and 1 year old, its OPENED, RIPPED, AND WET! ;)

My granddaughter does that too. I had to explain to her that she can only open the mail that the mailman (it is a male) BRINGS TO us, not the stuff that we are giving to him.
Bet the recipients love getting an envelope that has been totally taped back together, lol.
