That is the question! We have the most old, ugly, and outdated kitchen (at least in my opinion) and I hate being in it. I hate trying to cook in it with no counter space. I hate having friends and family over and having them see my embarrassing kitchen. Yes, I know hate is a strong word, but I really do hate my kitchen!
We recently bought some kitchen cabinets to replace the old broken ones, but have yet to do any work on our kitchen. We will hopefully be starting our project in June (fingers crossed that all goes as planned), so in the meantime we're still working out the final details. What paint color to use, picking out a tile backsplash, deciding whether to look at
kitchen carts and islands... and on and on.
There are so many decisions to make when it comes to remodeling. I'm not sure we have the square footage in the kitchen to go with a large island, but having a small kitchen cart might me nice. It would give me more storage and a little extra surface area to work on. They come in all colors too- you can get
black kitchen carts, white, cherry, mahogany, oak... whatever you need to tie in with your cabinet color.
And most all of them have the extras built in- spice rack, towel bar- you can get granite, stainless steel, or butcher block top.
Crosley kitchen carts has lots to choose from and looks sturdy and well built. I really like the look of this one (our cabinets are white)... but I guess we'll have to see if it fits into the new kitchen plans or not.
