Dora the Explorer Multi-Bin Toy Organizer from CSN {Review}

I posted awhile back that I had a review coming from CSN Stores... well wait no longer, here it is.  I had the hardest time deciding what I wanted to review, since there's over 200 stores you can literally spend hours, even days, browsing for products.... everything from kids items to console tables.  I finally decided to add some more storage to my girl's playroom and got the Nickelodeon's Dora the Explorer Multi-Bin Toy Organizer by Delta Children's Products.

I absolutely love this organizer and am so happy I ordered it.  It came very well packaged, double boxed, plus all the pieces were wrapped inside.  I did notice one tiny flaw in the picture on the side- there was one spot on Dora where the paint had chipped off.  It's barely noticeable, in fact probably only by me since I put it together.  Assembly was so simple, the instructions were clear and everything was labeled, you only need a screw driver.  It's very sturdy once put together and the girls love it!

 There's enough room for lots of toys, smaller on top and larger on the bottom.  Of course it didn't stay all nice and neat once the girls started playing with everything.  And though the bins are pretty durable, don't let your kids try to sit in them as it'll bend the cardboard.  I'm trying to figure out how to keep the baby (1 yrs. old) from taking the bins apart everyday, but still LOVE this toy organizer.  It looks super cute in the playroom and is really functional for lots of odds and ends.  CSN Stores offers lots of other toy organizers also.

My Answer:
I think lately I've only been linking up with 2 memes (not including this one)- Post It Note Tuesday & Wordless Wednesday.  And I think my favorite has been Wordless Wednesday.  It allows me to share a picture, usually of my girls, and not have to write a long post to go with it.  This way I'm slowly sharing pictures I love 1 week at a time, without having a super pic-heavy post.

My Answer:
I actually just posted about this yesterday (you can read it here).  That was our first day out for back-to-school shopping.  Our oldest is going into Kindergarten and she got a new pair of shoes and a haircut.  She already has a backpack from last year in Young 4's and I don't have the Kindergarten list to know what else to purchase yet.  So I think she's going to go the first day with just an empty backpack and hopefully the teacher will send home a list.  Oh, and I did actually win a cool notebook that I'm going to give her to use also.

So here's the item I chose to review:  Skip Hop Chow Baby Food Holder in White (also available in Red or Blue).  Shipping from CSN was super fast and the product was a breeze to put together... literally seconds! It came in 6 pieces with a page of instructions (which weren't needed, but nice to have anyway).  It has a padded, no-slip base and is surprisingly sturdy when fully assembled.  And if you're lacking on height space, you can always leave it as two tiers instead of three.

When we buy baby food for our little one we tend to stock up- and cupboard space is limited so there's never enough room for them all.  With this, I can store up to 12 jars (holds small & large), and each tier rotates independently from the other.  So now it's so easy to see what's available... and easy to reach them too.  No more digging around in the cupboard for the last jar of banana baby food!!

Uneaks/ CSN Stores Review

You may or may not have seen my sneak-peek for this review, but here is my actual review now...

I was given the opportunity to review a product from CSN Stores and since my daughter needs new shoes, I decided to go with a pair of Uneaks.  I've been seeing these around the web and have been wanting to get a pair for my daughter for awhile now.

I went with the Uneaks Paris shoe in Pearlized Pink and was super excited to get them.  The navigation of the website is easy and the ordering process is simple.  Though I did have to call CSN customer service because the Uneaks description was a little unclear for some of the shoes & socks (ie. it showed x # of socks in the picture, but said it was y # of socks in the description).  And the picture it shows of these shoes is this:

Once that was figured out, I placed the order and it arrived quickly and with no issues.  When my daughter opened the box she loved the look of the shoes and the cool, colorful socks.  However, when she tried them on, she said they hurt her feet.  When I asked her if her toes hurt, she said no, but the sides of her feet did.  So the length/ size of the shoe was the right fit but these shoes were too narrow for her.  And my daughter's feet are fairly small & narrow- she's 5 yrs. old and wears a size 9 1/2.  So my final assessment of these shoes is that they run very narrow.  They do have other styles of the Uneaks shoes to choose from so they may not all be like that, but for us the Paris style was too narrow.

In the end, I returned the shoes (free return shipping) and opted not to try another pair.  I'll just stick to buying my daughter shoes from the store so she can try them on beforehand.  The customer service team was super friendly and helpful every time I called though and went the extra mile to help me.  The one rep even called the warehouse to double check what exactly gets shipped with one of the sock packages.  So even though I was disappointed that the shoes didn't fit, I was very happy with the CSN Stores shopping experience and will actually be trying another product from them in the very near future.  I haven't decided what yet but will share when I do.
