More importantly, a pacifier that my baby loves!! The MAM Soft Pacifier, BPA Free of course, orthodontic, and with supple teething edges that baby can chew on. It comes in super cute pink or blue sets for either 2+ or 6+ months. This pacifier is the cat's meow... the nipple is soft silicone and can never be put in upside down. And with the teething edges your baby can now satisfy the urge to put everything in their mouth and you can rest easy knowing it's not hurting their gums. YAY for such an awesome pacifier!!

Name Brand vs. Store Brand Diapers
I'm sure at one point or another we've all tried the store brand only to be disappointed and then been left wishing we would've just spent the extra money on the name brand product. This can apply to almost anything, but for the sake of this post I'm going to stick with diapers (since it's a big-time investment in our household right now).
The following is MY top list of disposable diaper brands:
I'd also like to note that for newborn and size 1 I only like to use name brand. So for those sizes Huggies would be at #3 instead of the Target brand, but once baby is in a size 2 and up the Target brand works just as well and is a great price!

What Mommy...?
... I didn't hear you!
I don't know how many times in a day I hear this from my 4 yr. old. It's as if she's automatically programmed not to hear me the first time I say something. There's some filter in her brain that blocks mommy's voice. So every day it's "What mommy? I didn't hear you!" resulting in me having to say everything twice to my preschooler! Frustrating? YES Aggravating? YES Do I see the beginnings of a teenager who never listens to me? A resounding YES!!!
The S Word...
Well actually the 3 S words- sleep, shower, & sex. On an almost daily basis I find myself choosing between at least 2 of those S words, and almost always their priority level is that of listed above. There are days when I desperately need a shower (like now) but have an opportunity to nap or go to bed early and more often than not, sleep wins. And if it's between sex or sleep, well of course sleep wins in that scenario... to my husband's dismay. But there are times when, due to another S word, the order may change- my Sanity, and right now mama needs a shower so thank goodness kids are napping!

Holy Sickness...
Wow, have we been sick at my house this winter! It seems since our daughter started school, we've all gotten sick at least once a month. This month has proven to be the toughest one yet. It started with our middle daughter having a sinus infection and then developing pink eye. Then the following week our oldest daughter puked for a day, got better for a day, then puked again. Then the latest incident, our middle daughter again, did the exact same thing as the oldest except had a fever in between... and it just happened to also be her birthday. Poor kiddo! :(
I hate to see my kids sick, especially when there's not much we can do for them. And now that they're finally starting to feel better... wait for it... mommy is sick!! That's right, the one that cleaned up the puke, wiped noses, wiped butts (there was some diarrhea involved also, sorry tmi), and held & cuddled with sick kids is now the one that's sick! But at least I'm not expelling bodily fluids, from either end. **EDIT 3/27/10- YES I AM!! UGH!** Thankfully, somehow, the baby has avoided it all except a little bit of a runny nose and my hubby also managed to avoid the germs. I on the other hand have a sore throat, runny nose, & plugged ears. Why, oh why, can't we just get healthy and stay healthy?! When will this sickness end...
